1, the choice of voltage level
The maximum working voltage of the signal line lightning arrester isselected according to the working voltage of the signal line data transmission.It is an important parameter for selecting a signal line lightning arrester,but there is no common standard for the selection of different signal lines inpractical applications. The maximum working voltage of the surge arrester mustbe greater than 1.2 times that of the signal cable.
2, rate matching selection
The data transmission rate of different signal systems is different. Whenthe signal line lightning arrester is installed on the signal line, thetransmission rate supported by it should not be less than the transmission rateof the signal system itself, otherwise, the signal interruption or the increaseof the bit error rate will affect the normal operation of the signal system.
3, the choice of interface type
The signal line lightning arrester is installed on the line in series. Inorder to match the impedance and maintain the minimum contact resistance, theinterface of the same type as that on the signal line should be selected. ForRJ and SD interfaces, pay attention to the line pair coordination, and forcoaxial interfaces, pay attention to the male and female coordination.
