ZYSPD Series Power Supply Lightning Arrester Selection

ZYSPD power supply lightning arrester selection (selection of differentpower supply grounding systems) :

(1) Selection of TN-C-S system lightning arrester

TN-C-S System: The N line (middle line) and PE line (ground line) of this systemare combined into a PEN line from the low voltage side of the transformer. Onlya lightning arrester is installed between the phase line and the PEN line.After entering the general distribution panel of the building, the PEN line isdivided into N line and PE line for independent wiring, and the PEN line isconnected to the general equipotential ground busbar in the building.Therefore, after entering the power distribution panel, you need to install alightning arrester between the N and PE cables. In this case, ZYSPD40K385B3 andZySPD20K3853/4 are available.

(2) Selection of TN-S system lightning arrester

TN-S system: PE wire (ground wire) and N wire (middle line) are connectedat the outlet end of the low voltage side of the transformer and connected tothe ground. PE and N wires are separately routed in the rear power supplycircuit. Therefore, when selecting and installing a surge arrester, protect thephase and PE wires and the N and PE wires respectively. In this case,ZYSPD40K385B4 and ZYSPD20K3853/4 are available.

(3) TT system lightning protection device selection

TT system: N line (middle line) is only grounded at the neutral point ofthe transformer, and it is strictly separated from the protection ground of theequipment, so it is necessary to protect the phase line and N line, N line andground line when selecting the lightning arrester. In this case,ZYSPD40K385B3+NPE and ZySPD20K3853/3 +NPE are available.
